Convair N73106

This CV-580 aircraft is cn #7, a converted CV-340-31. It was built in September 1952 and delivered to United Airlines that month. It was acquired by Frontier Airlines in April 1963 and converted to a CV-580 in March 1965. In January 1984 it was sold to Air Traffic Service Corporation. In April 1985 it went to Sierra Pacific Airlines then mid December 1985 it was operated by Norcanair (North Canada Air). In October 1986 it was returned to Sierra Pacific Airlines in September 1988. In January 1991 it was acquired by Laredo Air and its civil registration was cancelled in September 1992 and it was stored at Pinal Airpark in Marana, Arizona. It appears to have been broken up by September 1997.
