This CV-580 aircraft is cn #16, a converted CV-340-31. It was built in September 1952 and delivered to United Airlines. It was acquired by Frontier Airlines in July 1962 and converted to a CV-580 in July 1965. It was sold to Sierra Pacific Airlines in October 1974.
