Convair N73127

This CV-580 aircraft is cn #54, a converted CV-340-31. It was built in February 1953 and delivered to United Airlines in March of that year. It was acquired by Frontier Airlines in December 1962 and converted to a CV-580 in April 1964. In April 1978 its civil registration was cancelled. It October 1980 it was acquired by Sea Airmotive. From February 1984 through February 1985 it leased to Atlantic Gulf Airlines. In December 1987 it was withdrawn from service and stored at Tucson, Arizona. In July 1993 it was used for spare parts and in January 2003 its civil registration was cancelled and it was sold to JBQ Aviation in Miami and scrapped.
