Convair N73130

This CV-580 aircraft is cn #59, a converted CV-340-31. It was built in March 1953 and delivered to United Airlines. It was acquired by Frontier Airlines in June 1959. This aircraft was not converted to a CV-580 because it crashed in Grand Island, Nebraska on December 21, 1962 and was a total loss. It is believed that the front end of this aircraft provided to only CV-580 cockpit trainer in the world at Frontier's Denver headquarters.
