Convair N74854

This CV-600 aircraft is cn #51, a converted CV-240-0. It was built in March 1948 and delivered to American Airlines that same month. It was acquired by Central Airlines in May 1962 and converted to a CV-600 in November 1966. It was then acquired by Frontier Airlines in October 1967 through the merger with Central Airlines. It was leased to Trans Texas Airways in October 1968 and when it was returned in was retired and placed in storage in Denver. In 1975 it was sold to American Jet Industries and then in 1976 it was sold to Garsco, Inc. for lease to Wright Airlines.
