Convair N74855

This CV-600 aircraft is cn #46, a converted CV-240-0. It was built in April 1948 and delivered to American Airlines in May of that year. It was acquired by Central Airlines in July 1962 and converted to a CV-600 in June 1966. It was then acquired by Frontier Airlines in October 1967 through the merger with Central Airlines. It was retired in March 1969 and placed in storage. It was sold in 1975 to American Jet Industries. In 1976 it was sold to Garsco, Inc. for lease to Wright Airlines.
