This CV-600 aircraft is cn #170, a converted CV-240-25. It was built in November 1950 and delivered to Ethiopian Airlines in December of that year. It was acquired by Central Airlines in October 1964 and converted to a CV-600 in April 1966. It was then acquired by Frontier Airlines in October 1967 through the merger with Central Airlines. It was retired in March 1969 and placed in storage in Denver. It was then leased to Mandala-Seulewah Airlines and sold in 1973 to California Airmotive Corp. (American Jet Industries). In May 1977 in was sold to Midwest Aircraft Sales, Inc. and then in December 1977 to Norman Millstein
