This CV-600 aircraft is cn #171, a converted CV-240-23. It was built in September 1950 for Air Fleets, Inc. and delivered to Garuda Airlines. It was acquired by General Dynamics in October 1964 and converted to a CV-600. It was acquired by Central Airlines in September 1965. It was then acquired by Frontier Airlines in October 1967 through the merger with Central Airlines. It was retired and placed storage in March 1969. In September 1970 it was sold to Seulewah Air Service (later Mandala-Seulewah Airlines).
