DHC-6-300/N386EX
This DHC-6 aircraft is cn #248, a DHC-6-300. It was built in June 1969 and delivered to Miami Aviation Corporation that same month. It was then leased to Executive Airlines that month. It was sold to Air New England in 1972, leased to Frontier in October 1972 and returned to Air New England in December 1972. It was stored in Marana, Arizona from October 1981 until November 1981. It was sold to Grand Canyon Airlines in March 1982. On June 18, 1986 this aircraft was involved in a collision with a tourist helicopter over the Grand Canyon. Both aircraft plunged to the ground and all crew and passengers died on impact. The aircraft was determined to be completely destroyed.
