DHC-6-100/N951SM

This DHC-6 aircraft is cn #93, a DHC-6-100. It was built in December 1967 and delivered to Skymark Airlines that same month. It was then delivered to Miami Aviation Corporation in January 1968. It was returned to Skymark Airlines in Sacramento, California later that month. In March 1969 Skymark was merged into Aero Commuter and in July of that year the airline was renamed Golden West Airlines. In October 1970 this aircraft was leased to Frontier Airlines and was returned to Golden West in April 1974. In June 1975 the aircraft was sold to Gibbs Flying Service and then to Southern California Air Transport in March 1982. It was acquired by Paralift Inc. in August 1985 and then to Perris Valley Skydiving Services in November 1985 and returned to Paralift Inc. in June 1992. It was sold to Alberta Aircraft Leasing in Las Vegas in October 1993 then sold to Prestar Inc. in June 1994. It was sold to Summerfield Aviation in Jefferson, Colorado in August 1997. It was sold to Polestar Inc. in Kona, Hawaii in March 2004 and then to Mid Pacific Air LLC., also in Kona in June 2016. It was seen in Toledo, Washington with engines, doors and cargo doors sealed and secured to the ground. In June 1918 it was transported to Perris, California for dismantling and was seen in March 2019 without wings, tail, and other parts.
