This DHC-6 aircraft is cn #402, a DHC-6-300. It was built in January 1974 and delivered to Frontier Airlines in March 1974. In December 1980 this aircraft was acquired by Sea Airmotive Inc. in Anchorage. In July 1984 the airline changed its name to Seair Alaska Airlines. Seair ceased operations in January 1986 and filed for bankruptcy in April 1986 and the aircraft was repossessed by First National Bank of Anchorage. That same month the aircraft was transferred to Air Vendee in Nantes, France. In November 1987 it was leased to Snunit Aviation in Tel Aviv, Israel. In November 1989 it was returned to Air Vendee and was withdrawn from service and stored. In February 1990 it was transferred to Schreiner Airways in Rotterdam, Netherlands and in July 1990 it was leased to Aerocontractors of Nigeria in Lagos, Nigeria. The aircraft was returned to Schreiner Airways in July 1994. In October 1994 it was leased to Maya Airways in Belize, Honduras and was returned to Schreiner Airways in June 1995. It was sold to JAS Aircraft Sales in Jacksonville, Florida in July 1995 and was acquired by Aeroperlas Regional S. A. in Panama City, Panama in February 1996. In was acquired by Ashe Aircraft Enterprises in Canada and in October 2000 it went to Alberta Leasing in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was leased to Aer Express LLC in Wilmington, Delaware and used as a skyjumper. It was sold to Kevin McCole in Dunbarton, New Hampshire in July 2008 and then to Kenn Borek Air in February 2010. It was leased to Allegiance Airways in Libreville, Gabon in August 2010 and returned to Kenn Borek Air in June 2013. In December 2013 it was leased to Windward Island Airways in St, Martin then returned to Kenn Borek Air in July 2014. In September 2014 it went to Planes & Parts Ltd. in Turned Valley, Alberta. In October 2014 it went to Polynesian Airlines in Apia, Samoa.
