JAMES OLIVER'S PHOTOGRAPHS

DC-3 N18939
FSM Aug 1956

When James authorized use of this photo, he told the story of the events surrounding that day. His family was at the airport to see two aunts off on their trip to Grand Rapids, MI. One was very ill but, fortunately, the flight was almost empty. James said that he was excited to be allowed to walk into the aircraft but that it would be another three years for his first flight. The flight shown is Central's flight 42 to Kansas City and the cost per aunt was $49.15 Thanks so much for sharing this photo with us, James. By the way, does anyone recognize the flight attendant?
